Antarctic Krill Oil

Antarctic Krill Oil capsules provide omega-3 fatty acids in phospholipid form — the way your body actually transports these fats. Each 500mg capsule delivers 60mg EPA and 40mg DHA, the two omega-3 fatty acids that contribute to the normal function of the heart, and includes 100µg of astaxanthin, a potent carotenoid antioxidant found naturally in krill.

Why krill oil differs from fish oil

Fish oil delivers EPA and DHA as triglycerides. Krill oil delivers them as phospholipids — the same molecular form found in human cell membranes. So the fats may be more readily taken up by cells. Krill oil also contains astaxanthin naturally, which helps protect the omega-3 fatty acids from oxidation without the need for added preservatives.

How to use Antarctic Krill Oil

Take 1 to 2 capsules per day with food, or as advised by a health professional. If you have a shellfish allergy, do not take this product. Speak to your GP before use if you take blood-thinning medication.
