The Power of Plants for their medicinal properties has been known for centuries. Despite this, the reason they work is only now being understood through research.
Incredible as it seems, while we know certain plants can make us feel better, it’s only relatively recently we understand the complexity behind the reasons why. Advancement in technology such as PET scanners means we can now track the molecules and compounds within plants to understand how they interact with our bodies. For instance, the way THC interacts with our endocannabinoid system explains the myriad ways it can alter our emotions and improve wellbeing.
At Plantz we’re aware some scientists can often describe plant medicine as ‘Alternative’ or dismiss it as second-rate. We’re determined to underpin our products and articles with the science behind our recommendations to ensure our community is educated and confident in everything we do.
Earn points for your contributions
Our community earn points for pretty much every interaction they have with Plantz.
Every month, in return for the subscription fee, we give members £5 worth of points that accumulate and can be redeemed for discounts in our shop.
However, points can be earned in other ways.
We give points for actions such as logging in, posting a topic in the forum, joining a Group or watching a video.
Points can also be earned by members contributing the most precious resource of all; their time. Contributions include roles & content. Content covers things like articles, interviews, videos and research. Roles can be moderating the forums, posting articles, graphic design, etc We post a list of available roles on the Job Board
Save Money
In return for a monthly subscription we immediately give you the equivalent of £5 in points. These can immediately be redeemed in our shop in the form of discounts on products.
Our shop is run on behalf of our members. We source products our community tell us they want. In addition to nutrients, supplements and edibles it also includes clothing, devices & CBD.
Many of our members run their own shops or produce products. We include them in our shop on a win-win basis, promoting their products to our members but also giving them a chance to partner with other members or combine resources. In this way our community can help each other to grow Plantz.
