Pain is a complex and pervasive condition that affects millions of individuals worldwide, often diminishing the quality of life for those who suffer from it. Traditional pain management approaches, such as opioids, have been associated with numerous side effects and the risk of addiction. In recent years, there has been growing interest in the therapeutic potential of cannabinoids, compounds found in the cannabis plant, as an alternative or complementary solution for pain management.

In these articles we explore the current science behind the many causes of pain. Then, we take a look at how cannabinoids can help decrease the effects of pain.

We’ll also look into other pain relief medicine, from opioids to paracetamol, to provide guidance on how they work to gain a better understanding of how they work so you can make informed decisions.

This project deep dives into the relationship between chronic pain and cannabinoids. This includes looking into terpenes such as beta-caryophyllene that have been used as painkillers for hundreds of years – it’s the same the reason why cloves are recommended for toothache.

In this project you’ll find:

  1. A database linking to research that examines the scientific evidence behind using cannabinoids and terpenes to treat many forms of pain.
  2. Forums and Groups to enable patients suffering from pain to join forces to share experiences and discuss which treatments work best for them.
  3. A growing library of media, including interviews and articles, to help patients identify the cause of pain and treatment using cannabinoids
