I’m beyond thrilled to introduce the Plantz family to a brand that’s close to my heart: Little Shirley! As a longtime fan, I can attest to the special energy Little Shirley brings through its bold, stoner-inspired art and comfortable, statement-making clothing. I’ve collected several of their pieces, from unique artwork to cozy hoodies, and every item carries that perfect blend of quality and personality.
Recently, I had the chance to join one of their immersive “Little Shirley Experiences,” an intimate event with 12 other women where we savored an infused dinner and painted pots to bring home. The evening felt like a dream, full of creativity, laughter, and beautiful connections. It’s an experience I won’t forget and one that reflects the brand’s emphasis on cultivating a supportive, expressive community.
Now, I’m honored to take my love for Little Shirley to a new level as we start working together professionally! I even got the chance to do a Q&A with the brand, where we delved into its origins, inspiration, and goals. The connection between Little Shirley and its fans is truly special, and I’m excited to share more about our collaboration. Stay tuned, Plantz family—big things are coming with Little Shirley!
What was your inspiration behind Little Shirley?
The whole brand is based on everyday stoner dilemmas & dramas remixed with elements of my life, weird dreams I’ve had and my weird obsession with old people. I was able to draw out situations and make captions to capture that for stoners to relate to.
What is your favourite part about your brand?
My favourite part about Shirley is being able to illustrate a mood. People just get it and that’s what’s helped the brand grow.
Tell us some of your favourite collaborations you have done so far and are there any brands you would love to illustrate for?
All of the collabs I’ve done so far have been amazing, it’s been wicked connecting with likeminded stoners that have ideas they need to bring to life with my help. It’s always fun to create a surprise or take lead with the ideas but it’s equally as fun to create any given idea.
What are your biggest challenges as an artist in the 420 space?
Biggest challenge- Shadowban! lol such a cockblock, it just means you have to grind harder even tho it can be discouraging.
If you could give one piece of advise to an aspiring artist what would that be?
My advise to any aspiring artist would be to connect with yourself first to be able to produce the best work you can. If you love it- they will love it.
For those curious, check out Little Shirley’s site to explore their collection. Plantz will soon be stocking some of our own special pieces 🙂
